Statement of Purpose To provide centralized purchasing services for all County funds, departments, and non-profit agencies, and to secure services and materials of a quality necessary to perform required tasks at the least possible cost. This program ensures that all public contracting and purchase acquisitions are in compliance with applicable statutes and regulations and manages the inventory, control and disposition of County surplus personal property. Purchasing prepares bid specifications, conducts public bidding, performs analysis of bid proposals and executes public contracting documents. It also provides management of the Intergovernmental Services Small Stores, Courier, and Copier Services programs.
