Week of November 16, 2008

River Road/Santa Clara

Beginning Monday, November 17, Lane County Public Works will return for the second round of leaf pickup in the River Road/Santa Clara area. Public Works will begin north of Maxwell Road between River Road and Northwest Expressway moving north to Beacon Drive West. Public Works crews will then move east of River Road starting at Beacon Drive East and working south to Division Avenue.

For residents who cannot take advantage of the County program, there are two local firms that accept leaves and other yard debris for a nominal fee in the Eugene and Springfield area: Rexius Forest By-Products, 342-1835; and Lane Forest Products, 345-9085.
