The second Lane County Budget Committee work session begins at 6 p.m., tonight, February 9 in Harris Hall (125 E. Eighth Ave., Eugene).

This work session will include presentations on the state budget including legislative information, a review of fees charged by the County, a discussion on additional taxes available to local governments, a bonded debt report, timber payment and budget communications, and the steps Lane County has taken toward long-term financial planning. 

These work sessions do not include public comment. However, community members are welcome to attend.

The official budget adoption process kicks off April 29.
