What:  A community meeting is planned to discuss the reduced allowable load limit on Goodpasture Covered Bridge.

The Lane County Public Works Department has reduced the allowable load limit on Goodpasture Covered Bridge to 15 tons as a result of a recent bridge inspection that discovered deterioration on parts of the bridge.

Lane County Commissioners Faye Stewart and Rob Handy, and Lane County Engineer Bill Morgan are inviting the community to attend a meeting to discuss the posting, what it means for daily traffic, and what the Public Works Department is planning for the future to address the condition of the bridge.
