Third Public Open House: Wednesday November 16
Lane County held a third open house to discuss increasing commercial and industrial development in Goshen. The purpose of this open house was to review draft code language, ask questions, and provide comments prior to the matter moving forward to a public hearings process. The draft code presented at this meeting is available for download, below. Comments regarding the draft are welcome and should be directed to the Land Management Division staff contact listed at the bottom of this page.

Second Public Open House: Wednesday June 22, 2011
Lane County held a second open house to report back on the comments received since the first open house, explore potential ways for increasing commercial and industrial development in Goshen, and receive additional feedback.

First Public Open House: Thursday April 7, 2011
Lane County is exploring options to increase commercial and industrial development in the community of Goshen, and we want your input. We invite you to attend an open house to learn about potential options, ask questions and provide comments. Brief presentations will be made at 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30 pm.

Background
On February 9, 2011, the Lane County Board of Commissioners (BCC) directed the Land Management Division to initiate a Post Acknowledgement Plan Amendment (PAPA) process to seek an exception to the Statewide Planning Goal 14, Urbanization, to allow an increased level of employment uses to develop within the Unincorporated Community of Goshen (Goshen).
The first step of this process is to conduct public out reach with the community of Goshen. There will be multiple opportunities to participate and provide feedback on this process.
